The Reno Film Festival and Truckee
Meadows Community College present the Oscar-winning
and nominated short films in the categories
of Animation and Live-Action.
The Animated shorts will screen on
Thursday, March 13, and the Live-Action shorts
will be presented on Friday, March 14. Both programs
start at 7:00pm at Truckee Meadows Community College's Dandini
campus in the Sierra Building, room 108.
The Animated films, approximately 90 minutes
in combined length are: Meme Les Pigeons Vont
Au Paradis, I Met the Walrus,
Madame Tutli-Putli, Moya
Lyubov, and Peter & the Wolf.
With a running time of just under two and
a half hours, the Live Action films are: At Night,
Supplente, II,
Le Mozart Des Pickpockets, Tanghi
Argentine, and The Tonto Woman.
All foreign films are subtitled.
NOTE: Although
the Oscar Shorts are rated PG, several of them
are subtitled and will require reading.

at the Bibo Coffee Company's Mt. Rose St. and Liberty
St. Locations and by
clicking here. Tickets are $8 general admission
and $5 for students for each screening.
A combo ticket for the two nights (available
only at the door or online)
is $13 general and $8 students.
