BOBBY LOGAN studied acting at East Los Angeles City College and film and television production at Los Angeles City College. Eventually he wound up working at the famed Comedy Store, writing for comics such as Garry Shandling, Sam Kinison, Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield. He also wrote a multitude of comedy variety TV programs, starring people such as Howie Mandel, Arsenio Hall and Leslie Nielsen.

In 1988, he directed and co-wrote an ultra low-budget movie called “Up Your Alley” with Linda Blair. The film cost less than $100,000 to make, and grossed close to $3 million. While making this film, Bobby came up with the idea of producing a spoof of “The Exorcist” called “Repossessed” with Linda Blair and Leslie Nielsen, who plays the exorcist. “Repossessed” has since become a cult classic comedy.

In March of 2007, Bobby began his “1-Day $99 Film School.” The concept is simple: to teach aspiring feature moviemakers what they “really” need to know in order to produce their low-budget feature film – and to learn it in one day and for 1/750th of a film school’s tuition. Since its inception, every class has sold out, and over two dozen of Bobby’s students have produced their own feature films.

Presently Bobby’s latest project is a feature film version of his favorite childhood TV series, “F TROOP.” Bobby is writing, producing, and directing this classic comedy-western, which he plans to shoot in the summer, 2008.
